I create illustrations and graphics for books, music and corporations using a combination of analogue and digital techniques. After completing my studies in Digitial Art at the Friends of Design Academy in Cape Town, South Africa, I moved back to Germany to work as a Junior Designer in an agency in Hamburg before starting my freelance work as an Illustrator and Designer.
My work is shaped by my interests in the cosmos, nature, music and movement. Constant curiosity about life has led me to study ancient Indian languages in Leipzig, aswell as studying Anthroposophy at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland in 2018/2019.
Working with my hands and exploring different materials and textures has always been of great importance to me and in 2024 I moved to London to study a Master’s degree in Traditional Arts at the Kings Foundation School of Traditional Arts, learning about diverse cultural crafts and artistic Traditions. I am driven by a concern for environmental issues and a wish to connect to nature through working with locally sourced materials, such as clay, earth pigments and wood.
